System Operations Senior Specialist – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Our partner company  is seeking a talented Systems Operations Engineer to help us manage and operate modern technologies as we expand our capabilities and products. As a global leader in financial technology, trading, and information services, this company serves businesses and investors worldwide, with over 50 offices in 26 countries across six continents, playing a critical role in every capital market.

In this role, you will operate our cutting-edge trading platform, manage incoming issues, resolve incidents, and oversee the release of new versions. Your responsibilities will include performance testing and executing recovery procedures for different releases. You will also participate in exciting projects focused on improving and introducing new products and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of application management, including incident resolution, requirement gathering, and release launches.
• Design, plan, and implement changes to existing systems and new solutions.
• Plan and conduct non-functional and performance testing.
• Act as a specialist in operational issues, requirements, and queries.
• Participate in various projects related to both current and new customers.
• Maintain operational documentation for second-line operations.
• Independently manage and execute tasks within large-scale implementation projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must-have: Proficiency in Linux/Unix.
• Experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or related fields.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python) and databases (SQL) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Containerization (e.g., Docker), and Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• A strong personal drive, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, client-centric environment.
• The capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively in a 24/7 mission-critical environment is essential for success in this role.
