
System and Database Developer/Administrator – STÄNGD (Stängd)
Overview
The System and Database Administrator is responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the organization’s business intelligence (BI), customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. This role requires expertise in database administration, system architecture, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Database Management & Optimization:
- Administer and maintain databases supporting BI, CRM, and ERP systems, ensuring efficient design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Regularly perform backups and plan for disaster recovery.
- Design scalable database architectures to accommodate business growth and increasing data volumes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues quickly.
- System Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Monitor system performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure system security and regulatory compliance.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, providing technical support as needed.
- Data Integration:
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Ensure data consistency and quality across systems.
- Database Development Support:
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database designs and implement best practices for database coding and stored procedures.
- Performance & Data Optimization:
- Identify performance issues within BI, CRM, and ERP systems and implement improvements.
- Optimize system efficiency, data quality, and responsiveness.
- Ensure high availability, load balancing, and efficient query performance.
- Project Management:
- Participate in BI, CRM, and ERP-related IT projects, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Cost Optimization:
- Optimize database licensing and hardware resources.
- Implement cost-effective storage solutions and reduce operational costs through automation and best practices.
- Strategic Planning:
- Align database and system architectures with business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise for decision-making regarding database technologies.
- Plan for future technology upgrades and adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system and database administration, specifically with BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Strong expertise with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with data warehousing and integration tools.
- Familiarity with BI, CRM, and ERP platforms (e.g., Qlik Sense, Salesforce, Jeeves).
- Proficiency in SQL query writing, database design, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in database administration or related IT fields.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.

Duration: 6 months with a possible extension
