Test facility IT solution Strategist – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Our team at the Strategy, Facilities, and Investment department within R&D is dedicated to ensuring that our test facilities are appropriate, sustainable, and fully functional. With a diverse group of 10 individuals with various backgrounds and areas of expertise, we have a strong collective knowledge base.

As a Test facility IT solution Strategist for the test operation, you will be responsible for creating an overall IT strategy, taking ownership of IT environments and networks for our test systems. A key to succeed is to have ability to collect relevant requirement and compile those that affect our operation. You will make sure we are compliant with IT policies and cybersecurity requirements as well as provide optimal support to our department. You will act as a central point to increase alignment with Digital and drive priorities, structure, and document work methods as well as larger initiative. Effective collaboration and networking with both internal and external partners will be essential in achieving our goals.

Main responsibilities
Collect relevant requirements and consolidate.
Develop and implement an overall IT strategy for the test operation that meets both internal and external requirements.
Own and manage common test system networks within the test operation.
Structure and document IT processes, as well as mirror established working methods from other parts of the company.
Document guidelines and processes to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
Provide scope and main requirements for projects with IT contents and support with guidance.
Assist department with IT knowledge.
Act as central communication point with Digital, drive the test operation needs and facilitate needed IT service development by Digital.
Drive standardization of the IT environments, work processes and best practices of test systems maintenance and support.
Make sure the testing operation is represented in relevant IT fora, and establish any needed cross-functional cooperation between test operation and Digital.

Required Qualities
Master of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing IT strategies.
Knowledge from large test operations, manufacturing and or industrial operations.
Strong background in IT security and compliance, especially in regulated environments.
Experience in network design.
Solid experience of collaborating with wide span of stakeholders and taking role as SPOC in complex organizations.
Been successful in structuring, documenting and implementing processes and working methods.
Fluent in English mandatory and Swedish is meritorious.
