As a DevOps team member, you’ll develop an automated process for building and testing software at Volvo Cars, using model-based design and C/C++ code. We use Zuul from OpenStack, along with Git and Gerrit, as the foundation of our CI/CD toolchain. This automated process manages all steps required to create and deliver a binary file ready for download to our vehicles. You’ll be part of a team shaping the future of our Software Factory, with its CI/CD system supporting thousands of embedded developers. 

Main responsibilities: 
– Develop and maintain an automated process to ensure software quality 
– Maintain and update existing scripts and tools to support evolving software 
– Evaluate and develop new tools to support developers 

Required qualifications: 
– Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent 
– Expertise in C/C++ and Python 
– Experience with continuous integration tools 
– Understanding of software development workflows and processes 

Meritorious qualifications: 
– Zuul
