Network Security Engineer / Cloud

What you’ll do
Our Network Engineers are responsible to plan, build and maintain our Enterprise Network & Network Security solutions, that our company organizations rely on. We are as a team globally responsible for all solutions needed to fulfill this scope. We are now looking for a Network Security engineers joining our Enterprise Network & Security Solutions cluster within Corporate Digital and Platform Products that would like to be part of the technical transformation journey that we are on.

The primary duties will include:
• Managing on-prem and cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Participate in assessing existing implementations, designing future state, and building transition plans for implementation of Hybrid cloud (Private & Public cloud) security setups
• Work closely with our team of network engineers and architects to ensure the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and practices in our enterprise networking environment
• Support Volvo Cars in building our capabilities to manage Cloud Infrastructure Network-as-code
• Planning and supporting (act as 2/3rd level) Network Security functions for on-prem and cloud implementations
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations as needed to help our company develop and deliver cloud future state architectures and roadmaps
• Provide technical expertise and best practices concerning the overall security of the organization’s network infrastructure
• Document solutions and hand over to operations
